These can be changed at any time by your Alpha.
~
1. His word is law. That means that you listen to your higher ranking, especially your Alpha and the Elderly. They know what's best for the pack, and chances are, you won't get listened to anyway if you get snippy.
2. Slaves are slaves. Anything that has to do with being nice to the slaves is frowned upon. We don't care if you like to kick dust in their faces, but mating with them is prohibited. You mate, and we kill the pups, and your or/and their life is in danger, too.
3. Elders always eat first. Yea, you heard us right. Alpha doesn't care if it's the apocalypse or just a sunny prey-full day. The Elderly are respected even among the largest ranking, so remember, they eat first. No ifs ands or buts.
4. Religions. To be honest, the Alpha shouldn't care whether you believe in Elem or worship a head of cabbage. Just as long as you go to every ceremony, you can worship as you please.
5. Rankings. As always, you are not granted the spot of Lead Crusader just because you have ultra high combat, or vice-versa. You aren't even granted the slot of a regular rank. If you fail to keep up with the expectations, you may be moved to a rank that fits you better.
-- Just to make this certain; if you are anything under a Priest mate's rank, unless you are a leader of ___, you can be punished by cleaning the Veteran's pelts or den or something. Never will a pack member be sacrificed unless they do something drastic.
6. Sacrifices. Sacrifices are mainly just a few pieces a prey given to some sort of holy place to rot. Only on special occasions will a slave be taken up and be killed in front of Elem.
Those special occasions could be;
The Hunt - when the Trainees of Hunting learn everything possible and go on a day-long hunt.
The Silent Vigil - when the Trainees of Fighting learn everything possible and stay up all night guarding the camp for trespassers.
The Naming - it is a big event for when a litter is born and makes it past the few days of survival. The Alpha will hold a ceremony for naming them.
Retirement - when the older members get old.
The Passing - it is a sad and tragic time when one passes. Normally two sacrifices are made, male and female, to insure that the loved one moves on safely.
If somehow there isn't a way for sacrifices then double the prey will be tossed in
7. Meetings. Meetings are mandatory for healthy pack life. Normally, at meetings they talk about the on-goings of the pack life. Maybe someone wasn't around to hear about that litter of puppies? Who knew about that battle attack on the Mortis? What about the fact that one of the Veterans passed and you totally forgot about The Passing ceremony? Either way, a meeting will always consist of a prayer to Elem, and sacrifices at the end. They will also always be held at the end of each month. Which, the next one will be on November 19 - December 1. [/i]
